Current Japanese Border Measures Related to COVID-19
Quarantine procedure
ü Please pre-register the information required for quarantine procedures via "Visit Japan Web".
ü Those who are unable to present a valid vaccination certificate or a valid certificate of inspection will not be allowed to enter Japan, as based on Quarantine Law, and will be denied boarding the aircraft in the country of departure.

a Valid Vaccination Certificate:
Pre-departure Test is NOT Required.

Without
a Valid Vaccination Certificate:
Pre-departure Test is Required.
The Japan Authorities request that all travelers use "Visit Japan Web", as it will take an extended period of time to confirm documents for those who do not use it.
Temporary measures are currently being applied to those who are entering Japan from China. All those who are entering Japan via a direct flight from China (including Macau, excluding Hong Kong) are required to obtain a certificate of Pre-departure Test.
